Responding to Evaluations

Learn how to review evaluation opportunities and submit your response.

Evaluations connect you with children who need to be assessed in your areas of expertise. You can review the de-identified details, respond based on your availability, and track your submissions—all in one place.

If you are an administrator at your company, you can also respond on behalf of other providers in your organization using Manage Responses on the evaluation page. Learn more about getting admin access.

1. Receive evaluation notifications

When a service coordinator posts an evaluation that matches your provider profile, you’ll receive an email with high-level information and a View Evaluation & Apply link. Note that your profile must be published to receive and respond to evaluations—keep it up to date.

2. View active evaluations

Click View Evaluation & Apply in the email, or select Evaluations from the navigation bar to see all open opportunities at your EI Broker.

3. Review the details

Each evaluation shows the areas that need to be evaluated, the child’s age and general location, the family’s availability, and the funding source. To protect client confidentiality, you won’t see the child’s name or street address.

4. Submit your response

Click Submit Response at the top of the evaluation page. Choose Interested or Not Interested based on your availability, and optionally add a short message to the service coordinator—this is a great opportunity to describe your availability and fit. The service coordinator is notified as soon as you respond.

You can change your answer at any time while the evaluation is Open using Update Response.

5. Monitor the evaluation status

If the service coordinator selects you, you’ll receive an email with their contact information for next steps. After the evaluation closes, your dashboard shows whether you were Selected or Not Selected.

Have a question before responding? Use Contact Evaluation Coordinator in the menu, or click the coordinator’s email link on the evaluation page.
