About
Shelley earned her Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2005. During college, she worked as a line therapist, providing in-home interventions for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. This experience fueled her passion for working with neurodiverse children and their families. Since 2007, Shelley has dedicated her career to working with students in the public school system. In 2019, she earned a Master’s degree in Special Education, with certifications in Autism and Transition Planning. Her diverse background includes work in various settings, which has provided her with extensive experience collaborating with families, teachers, and interdisciplinary teams. Shelley is deeply committed to fostering independence and meaningful progress for every child. Her approach is grounded in a coaching model and rooted in the belief that growth occurs through everyday routines, activities, and real-life experiences.
