About
Natalie Harris, DPT, (she/her) is a Physical Therapist with EMME. Natalie earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of North Texas Health Science Center in 2023. Natalie brings experience as a pediatric PT in outpatient, inpatient, and ICU settings to the EMME team.
Natalie developed an early interest in physical therapy after being a patient herself from countless soccer injuries, and found a strong passion for working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities during her time in high school and college. Over the course of her education, she gained valuable experience supporting inclusive programs and building meaningful connections in this community. Inspired to bring together both of her interests, she chose to pursue a career as a neurodevelopmental pediatric physical therapist, where she could make a lasting impact through movement.
Natalie’s favorite thing about physical therapy is how multifaceted it is. Every day brings something different, from problem-solving complex movement challenges to collaborating with families and other professionals. At the heart of it, sometimes PT is as simple and powerful as helping a child learn how to play, explore, and engage with their world. Watching both a parent and child's confidence grow as they hit milestones, big or small, is incredibly rewarding.
Natalie lives in Thornton, Colorado with her fiancé, Oliver, and dog, Leroy. In her spare time, Natalie can be found walking her dog, attending concerts, hiking or traveling. Natalie’s dream is to open up a plant nursery one day!
