Sara Ostrom
Experienced occupational therapist at AI Avenues
About
For 30 years, I’ve been part of the internal therapy team at Imagine/AI Avenues, supporting the well-being of babies, toddlers, and their families. I’ve also worked at CU in the Speech, Language, Hearing, and Communication department, and in the public school system on the Child Find Team, evaluating infants and addressing preschoolers' sensory, motor, and adaptive needs.
With decades of early intervention experience, I can address most needs that arise in infants and toddlers. I’m especially skilled with children born prematurely, small for gestational age, or with diagnosis like cerebral palsy or Down syndrome. I specialize in feeding, have completed multiple courses, and completed the CLC lactation consultant training. Supporting sensory-motor delays is also a focus. I lead Dayspring community activities and enjoy group facilitation.
I love working with families and colleagues to provide supportive services and feel privileged to serve as an occupational therapist.
