Shanda Roberson

Hi! My name is Shanda Roberson. I am a Pediatric Speech Therapist. I have been working with toddlers since I was 12 years old; practicing Speech Therapy for over 20 years now. I feel so fortunate to love my work every day! It brings me deep joy to help young children find their voice. I have been told by previous families I have worked with that some of my strengths are: bringing warmth and positivity, building a strong connection with each child and family, simplifying language in a fun way that creates a desire and motivation for a young child to try a word or early word combinations, providing clear home strategies so that families are an active part of their child’s language growth, explaining the importance of empowering each child with confidence and the ability to self-advocate at each level as language grows, advocating for additional support if/when needed, clear and consistent communication around scheduled sessions, and flexibility around changing weekly schedule as needed. I would love to be a part of your child’s language growth!
