About
Kyla Marley (she/her) is a Developmental Interventionist with EMME. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Teaching with Early Childhood Emphasis and a Minor in Spanish from Winona State University in Minnesota in 2016. In 2021 she graduated with a Master of Arts in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education from Regis University. Most recently, she earned a certificate for Early Childhood Special Education through CU Denver in 2023. She holds a professional licensure for Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education with the state of Colorado.
Kyla worked as an Early Childhood Teacher and Early Childhood Special Education teacher for seven years in the public school setting in Colorado. It was through this work that she discovered her interest in early intervention and saw how powerful it can be to support children and families early on.
Her philosophy is that every child learns best when their unique strengths and interests are celebrated. She believes that every family is the expert on their child. Kyla approaches her work by partnering with caregivers to help them feel confident in supporting their child's development. She's motivated by the joy that comes from each small step forward. Whether it's a child learning something new or a family feeling empowered and hopeful about their journey.
When Kyla is not working she enjoys spending time with her partner and daughter by trying new restaurants, going camping, or gardening in their backyard. She also has two dogs, one shepherd mix named Bumi and one tiny, but mighty, chihuahua named Azula. If you couldn't tell, they are Avatar: The Last Airbender fans!
