About
Amy has been working as a pediatric OT since she received her Masters in Occupational Therapy in 2015. Amy believes in the importance of creating a safe and trusting environment for therapy which allows each child to feel confident to try new skills, play, and grow. Amy is experienced in working with kids who struggle with sensory processing skills, fine motor/visual motor development, self-care skills, motor coordination, and self-regulation skills. She has experience in a variety of clinical settings including working with Kaiser’s developmental autism team, the school setting, early intervention, home health, and clinic based services. She has a special interest in working with kids with Autism, Down Syndrome, and developmental delays. Amy is passionate about meeting each child where they are at and building their skills and confidence through play.
