Josie Sack
Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathologist | Play-Based, Regulation-Informed & Family-Centered
About
I am a licensed speech-language pathologist with experience supporting infants, toddlers, and young children in early intervention and natural environment settings. I specialize in early language development, speech sound development, and social communication, with a strong emphasis on building communication through play, connection, and everyday routines.
My approach is play-based, child-led, and regulation-informed. I prioritize helping children feel safe, engaged, and ready to communicate, especially those who may have difficulty participating due to sensory, emotional, or regulatory challenges. Therapy is embedded into natural interactions and routines to promote meaningful progress and generalization across environments.
I strongly value collaboration with families and caregivers. I provide parent coaching and practical strategies that can be used throughout the day, empowering caregivers to support communication development beyond therapy sessions. I also enjoy collaborating with other providers and educators to ensure a team-based, holistic approach.
I provide services in English and Spanish and am committed to strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming care. My goal is to support each child’s unique communication profile while honoring family priorities and cultural values.
