About
Linda Andersson-Riggs is a pediatric occupational therapist, OTR/L (she/her), with more than 22 years of experience working with children and families. She earned her Occupational Therapy degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills in 2004 and completed advanced Sensory Integration training through Western Psychological Services and University of Southern California, becoming SIPT certified in 2005. She also holds certifications in AHA, Mini-AHA, and HAI. Since 2007, she has worked at Children's Hospital Colorado supporting children with sensory, developmental, neuromotor, and self-regulation challenges.
She is passionate about helping children build confidence, independence, and joy in their everyday lives. She believes that strong relationships, trust, and collaboration with families are the foundation for meaningful progress. She enjoys helping children work through challenges, celebrate successes, and gain confidence in skills that support participation in home, school, and community activities. Her approach is family-centered, play-based, and focused on helping each child reach their fullest potential.
She lives in Granby with her husband, two daughters, dog, and bunny. Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, running, mountain biking, hiking with her dogs, and traveling to Sweden to spend time with family and friends.
