Allison Paulson
MS, CCC-SLP
About
Allison Paulson (she/her) is a speech language pathologist with EMME. In 2018, she earned a Bachelor’s of Science from Purdue University. She completed her Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders through Emerson College’s Speech@Emerson program in 2022. After completing her Master’s, Allison began working in the public school setting as a preschool SLP, working with children with significant needs. She enjoyed working on a transdisciplinary team and saw first hand the difference teamwork and collaboration can make for a child’s growth.
Allison believes the foundation of meaningful progress begins with a strong, nonjudgmental partnership between providers and families. She values working collaboratively with caregivers and recognizes that families have the knowledge, strengths, and capacity to support their child’s development in everyday routines and interactions. Children learn best when they have a champion, and their greatest champion is their caregiver. Her goal is to empower families with support, encouragement, and practical strategies that help children grow, communicate, and thrive within the context of their daily lives.
Allison lives in Castle Rock, CO with her husband JJ and Bernedoodle puppy Freya. She loves going to trivia, going thrifting, building botanical Lego sets, and spending time with friends and family.
