About
Helen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Behavior and Health from Boston University in 2022. Helen went on to complete their Wilderness EMT certification and work on an ambulance in Denver, before beginning the Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program at Colorado State University. During the OTD program, Helen gained experience in adult inpatient acute care, elementary school, adult inpatient psychiatric, and early intervention settings. Alongside early intervention, she is passionate about adaptive recreation, assistive technology, the intersection of OT and emergency medicine, and being outside. Outside of RISE, Helen works as a ski patroller and volunteers for the adaptive snowsports program at Eldora Mountain Resort.
