Gabrielle Ferlauto

Gabrielle is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (MS, CCC-SLP) who specializes in early speech and language development. She has a particular interest in early speech sound development, emerging language, functional communication, and supporting young children as they develop their communication skills. She uses a child-led, play-based, and family-centered approach, following each child’s interests and strengths to create meaningful opportunities for communication within everyday routines and activities. She believes that therapy is most effective when families feel supported and empowered, and she incorporates parent coaching into her work to help caregivers use practical communication strategies throughout the day. She strives to make therapy fun, engaging, developmentally appropriate, and individualized to each child and family.
